Reducing Healthcare Associated Infections And Improving Patient Safety Conference, 22 November 2012, London

Government Knowledge will be hosting a timely and unique conference bringing together key stakeholders, policymakers and professionals from across the public, private and third sectors to discuss future strategies and policy for improving across the health and social care sectors.

in the 12 months leading up to September 2011, the recorded over 1.3 million patient safety incidents in England and Wales. It is estimated that the cost of patient safety incidents is over £2bn a year, with a further £1bn being spent on (HCAI).

An expert panel of speakers including Dr Natasha Robinson, President, Patient Safety Section, ; , Associate Medical Director, ; Greg Markham CEng FIHEEM MIET, Incoming President, Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management and Professor Anthony Kessel, Executive Lead on HCAI, Health Protection Agency will be discussing the following topics:
