Hybrid approach combines automated messages with social media platform
Cornelia Pechmann, professor of marketing in UCI’s Paul Merage School of Business, has found subjects in smoking cessation programs had much higher rate of success when exposed to social media messages that encourage them to share feelings and experiences with others.
